This fruity Colombian honey processed coffee is produced by the indigenous growers of Aponte, Narino. Proud members of La Cooperativa de Cafes Especiales de Narino.
These families of growers have been producing for over 4 years and have mastered the art of the honey process. Their farms range in size between 0.5 – 1.5 Hectares, with coffee contributions to this project grown above 1700m.a.s.l
Grown at the Aponte indigenous reserve located within Tablon de Gomez, an area now recognized by roasters around the world for its delicious coffee.
These amazing indigenous growers have their own language, rules and politics, and in deciding to join forces, have put a stop to their economic dependence on drug production. Only a couple of decades ago they were forced to grow illicit plants by the guerrillas, making it an area impossible to access due to its danger.
Find in this coffee a medium body, medium high acidity, notes of stone fruit, grapefruit and plum with some caramel sweetness making this honey processed coffee perfect for espresso and filter lovers.
Please use the drop down menu below to select whether you would like your coffee as whole beans or ground. The Brew Method is only relevant if you require your coffee ground, so that we can grind it to our lab-tested specifications for the tastiest brew! If you’re getting whole bean, feel free to leave it on “Espresso”. Please make sure all your selections are correct before checking out, once the beans go through the grinder we’re unfortunately unable to return them!
